You can delete your Datetris account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens afterwards.
Delete in the app
- Open the Datetris app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Logout.
- On the login screen, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Can't access the app?
Email datetris@pm.me from the email address linked to your Datetris account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your profile (name, photos, bio, interests, all profile fields).
- Your account credentials.
- Your matches and connections.
- Your message history.
- Your location data.
- Your activity history.
This deletion happens via a cascade through our database.
What we may keep
- Financial records — transaction records (not card details) for as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically 6–7 years.
- Safety records — if you were banned for serious abuse, harassment, or fraud, we may keep a minimal record so the same person cannot create a new account.
- Legal obligations — anything required by law or to respond to ongoing legal claims.
How long deletion takes
Most data is deleted from our active systems within 30 days. Backups are encrypted and rotated regularly; any data in backups is overwritten within 90 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription set up through Google Play. To cancel, manage your subscription in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Cancel before deleting your account.
